A bit of a desperation spot for the Rangers here as they look to end their four-game losing streak following a loss in the opener of this series last night. Texas will be seeing A's starter J.T. Ginn for the second time this season after suffering a 6-5 loss in their first look at him. Ginn labored through that outing but was ultimately bailed out by the A's bats. I expect a different story to unfold here. Rangers starter MacKenzie Gore is pitching as well as he has all season, yielding just four earned runs over his last three starts. The Rangers lone defeat over his last six outings came in a tough matchup on the road against the red hot Rays. Look for Gore to serve as a 'stopper' for the Rangers on Saturday. Take Texas (8*).

We really like the home team in this matchup. The line appears to be heavily influenced by Milwaukee RHP Jacob Misiorowski's dominant season, but we think this is an overreaction. The Dodgers (74-49) boast one of the best home records in baseball at 37-24 and hold plenty of firepower to compete in high-profile matchups at Dodger Stadium.

The Dodgers send LHP Justin Wrobleski (11-4, 3.44 ERA) to the bump, who has been remarkably effective at home while racking up wins for Los Angeles. The Brewers (75-48) hand the ball to RHP Jacob Misiorowski (11-5, 1.76 ERA).

While Misiorowski has put together a spectacular campaign, Milwaukee has suffered minor roster bumps, and the Dodgers' high-powered lineup offers plenty of value to protect home field and keep this close.
