Celtics Feeling the Heat Must Ramp it Up for Games Five and Six

The Celtics are hoping for a game seven at this point or is it an overreach to say the Cavaliers have the upper hand? The Celtics were embarrassed in both games in Cleveland and that’s an understatement. They were awful on the road and they let LeBron James abuse them. Now they find themselves in a “must” win game five or this thing is most likely over. Scenario; if the Cav’s find a way to win game five (and that’s not a stretch) then game six will go back to Cleveland and we all know how that’s probably going to go down. This game five is the most important game five in a very long time for the storied franchise, Boston Celtics.

44 stinking points is what the Celtics let LeBron have on Monday night and this game was never really close. It’s easy to be an armchair coach and say all of the things that should have been done, the missed opportunities and how this game could have been better executed by the Celtics, it’s another to really coach and Brad Stevens has a lot on his plate. That being said, he makes a pile of cash to be the decision maker and his responsibility is to beat LeBron James not the Cleveland Cavaliers. That’s correct, we are saying it. The offshore bookmakers have set the early line at Celtics -1. How this goes down will depend totally on whether or not LeBron shows up to win.

More and More Sports Gamblers Becoming Bookies

Listen, LeBron James shows up nightly to win, there is no question whatsoever about LeBron. Basketball fans know this and his heart is never in question, but, it has been proven by the Celtics themselves, that LeBron can be beaten. As LeBron goes, the Cav’s go and the Celtics had better not forget this. Cleveland’s cast of characters showed up on Monday in a fairly big way with a combined 55 points which includes Kyle Korvers 14 points coming off the bench. Here is who will not beat the Celtics; Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, George Hill, J.R. Smith and not even Korver. Kyle Korver has shown up during the postseason and has been clutch but he has beaten nobody, what he has done is taken the heat off Love and Lebron. Never under any circumstance open the door for LeBron, for Love, ok, give him his points, he is going to beat nobody!

No disrespect to Kevin Love, he is a great player and has earned the right to be called an all-star, however, he will beat nobody. He is not the guy, LeBron is the guy and let’s say it again; how LeBron goes, so go the Cav’s.

Rockets Embarrassed Can they make it A Series?

Brad Stevens has one job to do in game five, stop Lebron James and make the Cleveland Cavaliers beat you. LeBron is driven by ego, he wants to be the man, he needs to be the man and when the opponent takes the ball away from him and places it in the hands of his teammates, he loses. Normally, coaches do not coach to defend one guy, they coach to defend the entire team. Brad Stevens had better come up with a game plan that shuts down James or they are doomed.

Celtics Stepped-Up, Got Stepped-On – Where is the Smart Money?

The Celtics took care of business on their home floor in games one and two. They put the screws to LeBron and it was effective, it worked, and it got wins. They must do this in game 5. They must game plan around LeBron. Stevens has been given a lot of credit for getting this far and most of the credit; he is worth-but he had better come through in game 5.
