LeBron James was not looking past the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night, he was looking through them. He played through them, around them and he was in their face. Another playoff triple-double hanging on the mantle. This game was supposed to be close but it was also supposed to go Toronto’s way. Toronto has a bad habit of shutting down come playoff time. What happened to the Raptors on Tuesday? Did they allow the talk to get the best of them? This is kids’ stuff and has been going on since Magic and Larry were going at it every year in the Finals during the illustrious days of 80’s basketball.

Trash talk is just that, trash talk. Forget about it and play to win the game. Toronto played for a little more than three quarters and then the wheels came off the bus. What a mess for Toronto. Now they are looking directly at possibly going down 2-0 and at home. Toronto blew it once again and really, it’s no surprise.
It’s easy to call some players bums but they are on an NBA roster so let’s at least give them some credit. We won’t use the “bum” word but let’s call a spade a spade. Valanciunas played like a bum! He may not be a full blown bum but he pretty much played like one. He was simply a disaster and the last play of the game harkened back to the days of Charles Smith for the Knicks, when he had 4 opportunities to win the game, directly under the basket and couldn’t get it done. Just a disaster! He had to make that shot, he must make that shot. That’s a career altering miss.
NHL, MLB, NBA – Don’t Forget to Mix and Match Parlays
This series is going to be very hard for the Raptors to win at this point. The team had to have game one and now they are pressing because game two is an absolute must win. Has there ever been a bigger game two? Maybe not.
DeMar DeRozan is a beast on defense and he put together a great effort against LeBron. LeBron made his shots and when he’s on, he’s unstoppable. The defense was solid through the first three and they lost their minds in the 4th. Listen, DeRozan must be a leader, he must step up and pour in a nightly effort like he has never poured on before, and 22 points is not going to cut it. He must put up “games of his career” or Toronto has no chance to come back and win this series.
NBA Playoffs – First Halves vs. Second Halves
The Indiana Pacers pressed the Cavaliers and it was all driven by the new captain of the Pacers ship. Victor Oladipo stepped up and did what needed to be done from the teams star. Oladipo is the reason that series went to a game 7. DeRozan has no choice, he must step up and be the star.
Betting on this series will still be fun and anything can happen. The totals are a better bet, look at them closely and find out what your bookie is offering. Have fun and hopefully win some money this year.
