Samford has had one of the best turn arounds of any mid-major team. At the tail end of non-conference play they lost seven straight games, including one against a non division one school. The Bulldogs have resurged with an 8-0 start in-conference. Yet, only one of those wins came agains a team that is not floating around .500. Furman excels offensively where they rank 18th in the country in PPG, and is has two role players in JP Pegues and Alex Williams coming off of season highs. Take Furman |

The Huskies downfall in Big East play began with a road loss at Xavier. The Musketeers challenged the Huskies defense and were the first team to score more than eighty points against UConn. Yet, the main problem in that contest was the Huskies allowing Xavier to have a nineteen point edge at the free throw line. Look for the Huskies to play a much better all around game and even the season series against Xavier. |
