Texas Tech Tough on Defense

The Red Raiders are one of the best defensive teams in the country this season. They are holding opponents to just 62.6 points per game. They held an explosive Baylor team to just 68 points in the first meeting, but their offense was not good enough.

Transfer Mac McClung leads the team with 16.3 points per game. He has the ability to take over at any time. Texas Tech is a team that constantly searches for a great shot. The Red Raiders will try to slow this game down.

The Red Raiders battled the Bears in the first meeting of the season. They won’t back down from one of the best teams in the country.

Baylor Beating Teams With Depth

The Bears have been building for a Final Four run in recent seasons. This is a loaded roster of talent.

Baylor is averaging over 85 points per game this season. The Bears just continue to wear down opponents with a relentless attack.

Guard Jared Butler leads the team with 16.9 points per game, but Baylor has so many offensive weapons. The Bears are shooting better than 42 percent from the three-point line. They have the ability to get hot from deep.

Baylor has shown a bit of vulnerability of late, losing to Kansas and going to overtime with West Virginia. The Bears need to get better on the defensive end, but that offense is hard to stop.

Baylor Ends Season With Win

The Red Raiders will be a tough team to face in the NCAA Tournament. But they just don’t have what it takes to knock off Baylor. Texas Tech is a great defensive team, but it doesn’t provide much of an offensive threat outside of McClung.

Baylor has too many weapons, and all of the guards on this roster can really shoot the basketball. The Bears have been a National Championship favorite all season long. They will head into the conference tournament with some momentum.

Don’t expect a blowout, but Baylor won’t feel much of a threat either.
